AHA BLS Provider and AHA First Aid
This class is required for pre-application to LBCC's Dental Assistant & Medical Assistant programs.
Class description
Participants do not receive credit through LBCC for this class. You will receive AHA eCards for BLS Provider and First Aid prior to the LBCC deadline. ECards will be issued within 24 hours after the class ends. Subjects covered are one and two person CPR/AED, proper use of the bag valve mask, and techniques on how to provide a positive outcome for the patient, and what to expect from responding emergency personnel. Students will need to complete a 25 question test to pass the class. Upon successful completion, students will receive an AHA BLS eCard, valid for two years.
Cancellation and reschedule policy
You can cancel your registration up to 24 hours prior to the beginning of the class. If you complete the cancellation yourself, a $5 cancellation fee will be applied to payments received and refunded, additionally card processing fees apply to your refund. Cancellations process by Santiam CPR via call or email are subject to a $10 cancellation fee and additional card processing fees. You can reschedule your class yourself for free yourself up to one hour before the class begins. No refunds will be issued to any no-show clients.
